The charming town of Mahopec was their chosen location, a city that wears the season like a well-tailored suit, making it the perfect host for such a memorable event.

Their union was witnessed first by the tranquil waters of the Hudson River, where we took advantage of the stunning views for their first look photos. The couple's love was palpable, their smiles wide and genuine as they shared an intimate moment, framed by the pristine beauty of the landscape.

The ceremony itself was held in a romantic church, where their vows echoed through the hallowed halls, the promise of everlasting love floating between the stained glass windows and the wooden pews. The reception was an event in its own right, taking place at Villa Barone Hilltop Manor, a venue that exudes elegance and charm in equal measure. Laughter and cheer filled the halls as family and friends gathered to celebrate the newlyweds, the joyous atmosphere only heightened by the stunning view from the hilltop.

It was a hot July day when I had the honor of photographing a surprise proposal for Vince and Maggie. The setting was the picturesque Mohonk Mountain House, nestled in the Hudson Valley of New York. As a photographer, I always aim to capture the raw, unscripted emotion of such pivotal moments, and this was no exception.I had arrived early to scout out the area, choosing the perfect spot that would serve as the backdrop for this life-changing event. The sun was high, casting a warm glow over the mountain house, the lake shimmering like a sheet of glass below. The beauty of the location was already breathtaking, but the anticipation of what was to come made it even more magical.With the location set, I positioned myself discreetly, ready to capture the moment. Vince and Maggie arrived, their laughter and love filling the air. As Vince dropped to one knee, I captured the surprise, joy, and love on Maggie’s face, perfectly encapsulating the raw emotion of the moment.Once the initial shock had worn off and the tears of happiness had been wiped away, we moved on to a more formal engagement session. The cliffs above the lake, bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, provided the perfect backdrop. Their love was palpable, making my job a breeze.
